Recording, transcription, summarization, and search all run offline on the phone. Sessions live in the app's private storage, encrypted at rest by the operating system — no account, no cloud, no telemetry, no vendor with a copy of your clients' words.
Recall keeps every recording, transcript, and summary on the device — there is no cloud vendor processing your clients' words, which takes the third-party-vendor question off the table entirely. That said, Recall is not certified under HIPAA or any other healthcare framework, and using it does not by itself make your practice compliant with anything.
