Why How Features Privacy Get the app

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2, 2026

Introduction

Ragondin Recall is a local-first meeting recorder that runs entirely on your device.

Privacy is not just a feature of Ragondin Recall — it is the foundation of how the application is designed. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information and what data is (and is not) collected.

No Personal Data Collection

Ragondin Recall does not collect, transmit, store, or share personal data on external servers.

There are:

  • No user accounts
  • No sign-up forms
  • No cloud audio processing
  • No authentication required to use the application

On-Device Processing

All processing happens locally on your device.

Audio recordings, transcriptions, speaker identification, summaries, and search indexes remain on your device at all times. Nothing is uploaded to external servers.

Speaker voice models used for diarization are computed and stored entirely on-device and are never transmitted externally.

Microphone Access

Ragondin Recall requires microphone access to record meetings. The microphone is only active while you are actively recording. Audio captured by the microphone is processed and stored locally on your device and is never streamed, uploaded, or transmitted to any server.

Internet Access

Ragondin Recall does not use cloud servers for audio processing, transcription, or summarization.

Internet access is only used for:

  • Downloading AI model files for on-device transcription and summarization
  • Downloading application updates

Once models are downloaded, all functionality works fully offline.

No Analytics or Telemetry

Ragondin Recall does not use:

  • Analytics services
  • Advertising SDKs
  • Tracking technologies
  • Telemetry systems
  • Tracking pixels
  • Behavioral monitoring

We have no visibility into how you use the application, what meetings you record, or how often you use the app.

No Third-Party Data Sharing

Because Ragondin Recall does not collect user data, no data is sold, shared, or transferred to advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or other third parties.

Local Storage and Encryption

Recordings, transcripts, summaries, speaker models, and application settings are stored locally on your device.

Recordings are stored using the system keychain and are encrypted at rest. If your device is lost or stolen, your meeting data remains protected by your device's security mechanisms.

You remain in control of your data at all times.

Your Control

Since your data stays on your device, you may delete your data at any time by:

  • Deleting individual recordings from within the app
  • Clearing the application's local storage
  • Uninstalling the application from your device

No account deletion request is necessary because no account exists.

Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
